There are many unique individuals we come across daily while searching for virals. Here are five we've compiled.

From Zombie Boy aka the living skeleton, to the Iceman who can withstand the most extremist cold conditions unbearable to man, here are 5 interesting people we've never heard of - until now.

1. Rick Genest

29-year-old Rick Genest is a Canadian artist, actor, and fashion model born in Châteauguay, Quebec. He is also known as Zombie Boy for the corpse tattoos covering the majority of his body. Rick is tattooed as a living skeleton and prefers the moniker "Zombie" to "Skullboy".









2. Maria Jose Cristerna

Maria Jose Cristerna aka 'The Mexican Vampire lady', is a mother of four, an artist, a tattoo parlour owner and a former lawyer from Guadalajara, Mexico. She also holds the Guinness World Record for Female with the Most Tattoos and Body Modifications who has a total of 49 body modifications, a myriad of tattoos, a range of transdermal implants on her forehead, chest and arms, and multiple piercings in her eyebrows, lips, nose, tongue, ear lobes, belly button and nipples.




3. Cindy Jackson

59-year-old Cindy Jackson is an American plastic surgery pioneer and best-selling author and television personality known for being listed in the Guinness World record book for having had more cosmetic surgery procedures than anyone else in the world. Since 1987 she has had 14 full scale operation incorporating 52 cosmetic procedures including facelifts, two nose operations, eye lifts, knee, waist, abdomen and thigh liposuction, jaw surgery, lip and cheek implants, chemical peels, chin bone reduction.

4. Aneta Florczyk

Aneta Florczyk is a Polish female athlete and strongwoman. She has won the World's Champion / World's Strongest Woman four times - in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2008, making her the only woman in history to win the competition more than any other woman, according to Guinness World Records. She has beaten her own previous record of most frying pans rolled - rolling 5 pans, as part of a Chinese show, shot in Beijing in November 2008.




5. Wim Hof

Wim Hof is a Dutch world record holder, adventurer and daredevil, commonly nicknamed the Iceman for his ability to withstand extreme cold.



Hof holds twenty world records, one of which includes a world record for longest ice bath. He broke his previous world record by staying immersed in ice for 1 hour, 13 minutes and 48 seconds at Guinness World Records 2008. Some of his feats:
  • In February 2009, Hof reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in two day wearing only shorts.
  • In 2007, he climbed to 6.7 km altitude at Mount Everest wearing nothing but shorts, but failed to reach the summit due to a recurring foot injury.
  • In 2009, Hof completed a full marathon (42.195 kilometres (26.219 mi)), above the polar circle in Finland, in temperatures close to −20 °C (−4 °F). Dressed in nothing but shorts, Hof finished in 5 hours and 25 minutes.
  • Hof again broke the ice endurance record in 2010 by standing fully immersed in ice for 1 hour and 44 minutes in Tokyo, Japan.
  • In 2011 Hof broke the ice endurance record twice, in Inzell in February and in New York in November. The Guinness World Record is now set for 1 hour and 52 minutes and 42 seconds by Hof.
