The Doomsday Clock is a symbolic clock face, representing a countdown to possible global catastrophe and has been maintained since 1947 by the members of the Science and Security Board of the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists and according to their website, the minute hand represents “how close we are to destroying our civilization with dangerous technologies of our own making,” with midnight equaling destruction…

Scientists behind a “Doomsday Clock” that measures the likelihood of a global cataclysm say the world is still under grave threat.

The Wedding HAKA Moves Bride to Tears

The New Zealand sports teams' are famous for performing a haka before their international matches and according to Ms Armstrong, women do not normally perform the haka in Maori culture but she said they can do so at weddings - and perform she did when she jumped in to take part in the one at her wedding. The engrossing wedding video, viewed over 20+M times on Facebook, took place in Auckland New Zealand last week and has not only brought the bride to tears, but everyone who has watched it...



The haka is a traditional ancestral war cry, dance, or challenge from the Māori people of New Zealand. It is a posture dance performed by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted accompaniment.
War haka were originally performed by warriors before a battle, proclaiming their strength and prowess in order to intimidate the opposition, but haka are also performed for various reasons: for welcoming distinguished guests, or to acknowledge great achievements, occasions or funerals, and kapa haka performance groups are very common in schools.
